Job summary

County College of Morris Foundation in Randolph Township, New Jersey, is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Dance to teach courses in alignment with the Adjunct Faculty agreement. The successful candidate will hold a Master’s Degree, preferably an MFA, and have prior teaching experience at the college level. Strong knowledge of dance and communication skills are essential.

Job Summary

To teach courses in Dance in accordance with the Adjunct Faculty collective bargaining agreement. The instructor will also participate in departmental initiatives, such as assessment, and respond to requests regarding grades, grade submissions, course-related content, and other duties. Adjuncts may be asked to provide evidence of academic achievement and/or recognition by professional and community organizations.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree required; MFA preferred.
• Experience: Prior college or university teaching experience preferred.
• Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of dance discipline, including current developments and technologies in related fields. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
