Texas A&M University - Texarkana is seeking part-time adjunct instructors for Kinesiology. This position supports Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 where qualified applicants may be invited from a pool to teach courses in Kinesiology.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in the field or related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours; a Doctorate or terminal degree is required for graduate-level sections. The appointment is per semester and contingent upon enrollment.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Kinesiology course(s) in one or more modalities: face-to-face, web-enhanced, hybrid, or online.
  • Courses may run as 5-, 8-, 10-, or 16-week terms depending on the semester.
  • Coordinate course administrative duties: grading, loading content, meeting with students, submitting grades timely, meeting census and grade deadlines, and other duties as needed.

Applying for a part-time teaching appointment in **Kinesiology** adds applicants to a pool which is available to the department for selection as needed for Fall 2026, Spring 2027 and/or Summer 2027. **Minimum educational requirements for undergraduate level courses:**Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or related field, including a minimum of 18 graduate level credit hours in the teaching discipline. Degree and coursework must be obtained from a regionally accredited institution. **Minimum educational requirements for graduate level courses:** Doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline, or closely related field, including a minimum of 18 graduate level credit hours in the teaching discipline.
