All faculty positions have as their primary objective to create adynamic teaching/learning environment for our students. Facultyresponsibilities include teaching assigned courses and followingthe course description and course outline established by thedepartment. Teaching schedules may include day/evening courses andonline/hybrid instruction and other instructional modalities. Inaccordance with the Adjunct Faculty collective bargaining agreement( CBA ), additional activities may include participation indepartmental initiatives, evidence of academic achievements,recognition by professional and community organizations, and otherduties.
Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution inappropriate discipline (Computer Science, Information Technology)or Master’s degree in Education with BS in appropriate disciplinerequired.
Any technical certifications are a plus. ex: CCNA, CompTIA A+and/or CompTIA Security+
Prior college or university teaching experience preferred, as isevidence of scholarly and/or professional activities.
Additional job experience may be substituted for a Master’s Degreein selected discipline.
Demonstrated knowledge of discipline including current developmentsand technologies in related fields of specialization.
Ability to teach lab courses as appropriate.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
