County College of Morris (Cc M) is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Information Technology courses. The role includes teaching programming, database management, web design, and cybersecurity in various formats.
Applicants must hold a Master's Degree in a relevant discipline and demonstrate strong communication skills. Additional technical certifications are advantageous.
All faculty positions have as their primary objective to create a dynamic teaching/learning environment for our students. Faculty responsibilities include teaching assigned courses and following the course description and course outline established by the department.
Teaching schedules may include day/evening courses and online/hybrid instruction and other instructional modalities. In accordance with the Adjunct Faculty collective bargaining agreement (CBA), additional activities may include participation in departmental initiatives, evidence of academic achievements, recognition by professional and community organizations, and other duties.
Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in an appropriate discipline (Computer Science, Information Technology) or a Master’s degree in Education with a BS in an appropriate discipline required. Any technical certifications are a plus (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+).
Prior college or university teaching experience preferred, as is evidence of scholarly and/or professional activities. Additional job experience may be substituted for a Master’s Degree in selected discipline.
Demonstrated knowledge of discipline including current developments and technologies in related fields of specialization. Ability to teach lab courses as appropriate. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
