Provide instruction in the Basic Air Conditioning and Heating Certificate to prepare students to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, service, and install all types of HVAC systems. Includes instruction in basic electricity, tools and service techniques, EPA 608 certification preparation, automatic controls, heat pumps and duct fabrication. Must have excellent communication, customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to interact with students and the public. The schedule includes evening classes offered face-to-face. (Fall, Spring, and Summer).
Associate Degree in content area or closely related degree. HVAC Certification and minimum 5 years of field experience
