Pellissippi State Community College seeks an Adjunct Instructor in Forestry to provide quality instruction and maintain a positive learning environment on campus. The role emphasizes teaching, evaluating student progress, and helping students master course outcomes.
The position is on-site with required meetings; online courses may be possible but it is not a remote position. Adjuncts are hired as-needed and postings close yearly; re-application is required to stay in the system.

College of Sciences and Nursing
Faculty should be able to teach courses on campus and attend required meetings. Online courses may be a possibility, but this is not a remote position
Master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college/university with a major in forestry or a closely related discipline.

Adjuncts are hired on an as-needed basis. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis, which may include fall, spring, and summer. Postings close yearly on January 31; to maintain your application within the system, you will need to re-apply each year.
