Big Sandy Community and Technical College invites qualified candidates to apply for the part-time Adjunct Instructor of Communications. Part-time faculty may be needed to teach for selected day, evening, weekend and online classes at any of our campus locations, including Prestonsburg.

The position pays $515.00 per credit hour. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Communications from a regionally accredited institution, plus a passion for teaching

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Communications from a regionally accredited institution.
• Ability to teach undergraduate students and work well in a team.
• Experience with online teaching is a plus.

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's Degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Communications.
• Credential must be granted from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
• A passion for teaching undergraduate students and an ability to work with a team effectively is essential to success in this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with on-line teaching is preferred.
• Teaching with Blackboard experience is preferred.
