Job summary

  • Attends professional development opportunities when possible

Job description

Wake Technical Community College is seeking to expand our pool of adjunct faculty to teach Communication classes. Openings for these positions may not exist at the present time; however, upon review of your qualifications, you may be contacted in the future.

Responsibilities
  • Instructs and guides the class in an efficient and effective manner

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationship with students, peers, supervisors and staff.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Knowledge of Blackboard, an online teaching tool is preferred.
Requirements
  • Requires a Master's degree in Communications OR Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Communication.

Preferences
  • Community College teaching experience.
