Job summary

Saint Leo University seeks qualified adjunct faculty in the Saint Leo, Florida area to join an adjunct availability pool. Candidates will be contracted term‑by‑term based on course/section need.

Responsibilities include teaching assigned courses as contracted, providing all instructional materials and course content as outlined in syllabi, submitting grades within three days after the end of each term, and delivering course content professionally.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester credit-hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
• Experience in teaching or related professional experience in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses as contracted.
• Provide instructional materials and course content as outlined in syllabi.
• Submit grades within three days after the end of each term.
• Deliver course content professionally for all assigned courses.
• Attend all scheduled class meetings for the assigned period.
• Be available to students before and after class for individual consultation.
• Assist in disseminating course information to students.
• Uphold university policies, core values, and instructor duties as outlined in the university handbook.
• Report to the designated academic administrator and ultimately to the department chair, director, or school dean.
