University of North Texas is seeking qualified Adjunct Instructors for Conducting & Ensembles. This pool supports Fall 2026, Spring 2027 and Summer 2027 with varying course offerings, including a 3‑semester choral literature sequence and conducting classes for MM students.
Minimum qualifications include a master's in choral conducting or 18 graduate credits in related areas; a terminal degree is preferred. Applications require two professional references and the position is Security Sensitive.
The Department of Conducting & Ensembles seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses to develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs. The anticipated need is to teach our 3‑semester long choral literature sequence. In the other semester teach a conducting class for MM students in conducting and related field conducting students.
