Qualifications

• Graduate-level knowledge of communication theory and related disciplines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience teaching across multiple modalities including face-to-face, online, and hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Teach 1–3 sections of lower-division communication courses in multiple modalities.
• Follow the Course Curriculum Outline (CCO) and department standards.
• Provide timely feedback and return graded work.
• Maintain attendance and grade records and submit final grades on time.
• Provide ADA accommodations and comply with FERPA guidelines.
• Maintain professional communication with students and respond within 1–2 days.
• Collaborate with the Department Coordinator and Associate Dean as needed.
