Weatherford College is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for the Radiologic Technology Program. The role monitors clinical education sites, observes student performance, and ensures compliance with program policies and JRC standards.
The coordinator will become aware of misconduct at clinical sites and will document structure, inclusion of students, and adherence to standards across all sites.
The clinical coordinator will monitor clinical education sites of the Radiologic Technology Program. Periodic visits will be conducted so that observations will be made regarding each student’s technical progress and adherence to program policies, Weatherford College rules and regulations and the standards set by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology in the current “Standards for an Accredited Educational Program in Radiologic Technology”.
The clinical coordinator will become aware of any kind of misconduct on the part of the clinical site in reference to fairness, exploitation of students or student rights. The clinical coordinator will ensure that documentation will be kept of structure, of organization and of the inclusion of the students in all aspects of radiology that are available at each clinical site.
Transcripts, Certifications, & Current License must be sbmitted with application.
A minimum of two years as a practicing radiologic technologist. A minimum of one year as a clinical instructor in an accredited radiography program (may have been obtained concurrently with professional experience).
This position is designated as a security sensitive position and requires a satisfactory criminal history background check.
