State of South Carolina seeks a Dual Enrollment Chemistry Instructor to teach college-level chemistry at Gaffney High School under the partnering college’s standards. You will plan engaging lessons, supervise labs, and assess student progress.
The role requires a Master's in Chemistry (or related field with 18 graduate hours in Chemistry) and effective use of the college LMS. Prior dual enrollment experience is preferred, with emphasis on safety and documentation.
The Dual Enrollment Chemistry Instructor teaches college-level chemistry courses at Gaffney High School in accordance with the partnering college's curriculum and academic standards. Responsibilities include planning and delivering instruction, conducting laboratory activities, assessing student learning, maintaining accurate grades and attendance, and providing timely feedback to students. The instructor ensures a safe laboratory environment, follows all college and high school policies, utilizes the college's learning management system, and maintains required course documentation.
