Job summary

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in the discipline or subfield, or Master’s degree in a different field with 18 graduate credits in the discipline or subfield
  • Master’s degree AND appropriate DPI licensure in the discipline or subfield they teach
  • Proficiency utilizing learning management system
  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • Foster student learning by developing appropriate instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs
  • Create learning experiences that integrate instructional technologies to maximize student success

  • Fulfill assigned schedule, maintain accurate student attendance and grade records, and ensure opportunities for student engagement evaluation

  • Serve as an advocate for students and engage in activities that help students reach their goals
  • Continually improve knowledge and skills in emerging trends, current occupational practices, and teaching
