Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Saturday, 8:00 – 11:30 am

Adjunct instructor of biology courses and labs. Ensures a quality learning environment for all students, and plans, organizes, implements, and assesses academic experiences as assigned within the vision, mission, values, and learning domains of the College.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students as delineated by course curriculum.
• Evaluate student performance in accordance with the course requirements and provide appropriate feedback to students in a timely manner.
• Respond to and evaluate student learning by appropriate means.
• Grade papers, tests, projects and other assignments in a timely manner and give appropriate feedback to students.
• Submit grades to the Registrar at midterm and at the completion of the course.
• Participate in the annual College adjunct self-reflection and evaluation process.
• Effectively deliver required course content in learning management software.

• Practices and reflects knowledge of FERPA with respect to protecting the privacy of student education records.
• Completes all annual education and competency requirements within the calendar year.
• Is knowledgeable of college compliance requirements.
• Brings any questions or concerns regarding compliance to immediate attention of leaders and takes appropriate action on concerns related to compliance.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $25 per hour – $41.75 per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model.
