Position Highlights

This position will provide instruction to students in the field of Judaic Studies. This is a non-tenure-eligible position for the 2026-2027 Academic Term. The position is within the Arizona Center for Judaic Studies, which is housed within the School of Global Studies in the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Arizona Center for Judaic Studies at the University of Arizona seeks an adjunct instructor to provide part-time instruction for Judaic Studies major and minor students, and all interested UA students, for the 2026-2027 Academic Term, contingent upon the availability of funding and enrollments.

  • Instruct undergraduate students in their field of expertise.
  • Plan class lectures and assignments.
  • Grade assigned papers and exams.
  • Hold regular office hours.
  • Assign grades to students based on their performance in class assignments and exams.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Administer the Hebrew Program within the Arizona Center for Judaic Studies.
