We seek enthusiastic, team-oriented instructors to help build an innovative curriculum and engage our students through community partnerships, internships, and experiential learning opportunities.

The institution offers a unique "earn and learn" model where students work in their field while pursuing their degrees. As Indy's only program of its kind, it allows students to gain valuable work experience and earn an income while completing their studies. This approach integrates academic learning with practical employment, fostering both professional and personal growth. Successful applicants are expected to share their discipline knowledge and teach using a hands-on approach.

  • Facilitate Engaging Learning Experiences: Utilize Canvas tools and features effectively to enhance student engagement and promote meaningful interactions.

  • Provide Ongoing Course Maintenance: Maintain the course shell throughout the semester, ensuring it is up-to-date with the latest developments in the discipline.

  • Utilize Open Educational Resources (OER) Texts: Prioritize the use of OER texts whenever possible to promote accessibility and affordability for students.

  • Create and Upload Pre-Recorded Instructional Videos: Develop and deliver pre-recorded instructional videos for each lesson, providing clear explanations and visual aids to enhance student understanding.

  • Adhere to the 16-Week Semester Schedule: Ensure that course content and activities are paced appropriately and aligned with designated deadlines.

  • Commitment and Knowledge of the Earn-and-Learn Model
