Mount Carmel College of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio seeks an Adjunct Instructor for Clinicals to provide periodic instruction to nursing students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings. The instructor evaluates learning, maintains academic records, and helps plan experiences to support learners’ outcomes.

Minimum requirements include a BSN and MSN, an active Ohio RN license, and CPR certification for clinical teaching. Teaching in higher education is preferred; strong communication is essential.

Qualificações

• Education/Experience: Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing.
• License/Certification: Must hold a current active unrestricted RN license in Ohio.
• CPR certification required if teaching in a clinical setting.
• Teaching experience in a collegiate or university setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills.

The primary function of this position is the periodic instruction of Mount Carmel College of Nursing students in the classroom, laboratory, and or clinical setting. The Adjunct Faculty contributes to evaluating student learning and performance and maintains academic records regarding students' progress, and participates in the planning and implementation of learning experiences that support the learners’ ability to achieve stated outcomes.

• Current primary need is for Medical Surgical and Critical Care Clinical Instruction.
• Education/Experience: Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing
• License / Certification: Must hold a current active unrestricted applicable license in the State of Ohio as an RN.
• Current CPR certification is required if teaching in a clinical setting
• Teaching experience in a collegiate or university setting is preferred.
