Johnson C. Smith University - JCSU is seeking a Part-time Adjunct Instructor to deliver course content with thorough preparation and responsiveness to student needs.
The role reports to the Department Chair and emphasizes diversity, governance participation, and collaboration with faculty. The instructor will teach part-time credit hours each semester, maintain class records, and participate in university-sponsored development programs.
The Part-time Adjunct Instructor is responsible for teaching the discipline with highly qualified content, thorough preparation, and meeting the academic needs of the student. The Part-time Adjunct Instructor reports to the Department Chair.
A Master's Degree in teaching disciplines or at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline, or a documented justifiable scholarly and professional experience in the discipline certified by the respective College Dean. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. The equivalent combination of Education and related work experience may be considered.
Finalists for this position are subject to a background check. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation including criminal history and identity check.
