Job summary

Marymount University’s School of Design + Art invites applications from qualified individuals to teach undergraduate GMD studio courses. Depending on expertise, you may teach a course in any area of study offered by the GMD program, including Adobe CC, digital photography, videography, motion graphics, digital publishing or publications, web design, UX/UI, or design communications.

Applicants will be expected to follow the syllabus and set curriculum for the course already prepared and delivered

Qualifications

• Masters degree and/or substantial professional experience in design
• Five years of professional experience preferred in the design field
• Proficient in design software and processes using Adobe CC on a Mac environment

Responsibilities

• Teach designated GMD studio courses and keep teaching materials current
• Interact with students in discussions and hands-on activities, and continuously grade assignments
• Maintain office hours and support students in their educational journey and career progression
