Job summary

The Chronicle of Higher Education, Inc. seeks an Adjunct Faculty-Design (Pooled Position) to teach design courses across Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising, and to support college events.

Position involves day, evening and hybrid instruction, with emphasis on creating a dynamic teaching/learning environment and providing effective service to the college.

Master’s degree is required; MFA/M.Arch/MID preferred; portfolio submission required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in an appropriate discipline.
• MFA, M.Arch or MID preferred.
• Prior college teaching experience is preferred.
• Experience teaching Adobe CC products and design drawing/rendering/modeling.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in Architecture, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design, and Fashion Merchandising.
• Provide service to the college and support college events and student activities.
• Teach day, evening and hybrid courses as needed.
