Job summary

Hopkinsville Community College invites applications for our part-time Welding adjunct faculty pool.

These are temporary, part-time positions used to fill classroom vacancies as needed when regular full-time faculty are not available due to increased enrollment, workload, or scheduling: days, evenings, weekends, and/or online.

Position is on-site with the department coordinating schedules through Academic Affairs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and demonstrated competencies in Welding.
• Part-time adjunct teaching capacity for welding courses.
• On-site instruction and classroom management as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plans and carries out instruction, instructional activities, and prepares learning materials for special studies.
• Provides instructions to students in both theory and practice in welding.
• Prepares lesson plans and maintains records and reports on student attainment and progress.
• Maintains classroom order and discipline.
