Job summary

Prairie State College seeks a dynamic Speech instructor to expand our pool of face-to-face adjunct faculty teaching COMM 101 in person at our Chicago Heights campus for the Spring 2027 semester. Morning and Evening classes are available.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mass Communication or Speech Communication.
• Experience teaching at the community college level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach COMM 101 in-person at the Chicago Heights campus.
• Prepare, teach, and assess student learning and collaborate with the Dean and colleagues to improve student learning experience.
• Utilize technology-based programs related to student instruction.
