Massasoit Community College in Brockton, MA, invites applications for adjunct or part-time faculty in speech communications for the 2026-2027 academic year. Accepting Applications for Academic Year 2026-2027
Adjunct or part time teaching assignments include in person, online, hybrid, or video conferencing formats not only on Massasoit's Brockton and Canton campuses, but also in local high schools or as part of our on campus early college courses. We are currently looking for predominantly in person faculty. Professors work collaboratively to create a learner centered environment focused on student learning and success. Teaching approaches are expected to include active and collaborative techniques and real-world applications related to speech communication.

Adjunct Faculty are part time instructors hired on an as needed basis. Positions may consist of day, night, or weekend positions and may be in Brockton, Canton, Middleborough, or any other instructional site.

Position Status: MCCC/MTA position
Semester: Academic Year Fall 2026- Spring 2027
Schedule: In Person Day Classes - Early College Focus
Salary: $1,512.00 per credit, consistent with the DCE Collective Bargaining Agreement.*If hired for the position mid-semester, the salary will be pro-rated based on the number of weeks left in the semester.
Worksite: Assignments will include all Massasoit sites.
