WPI seeks part-time adjunct faculty in Social Science & Policy Studies to teach day and/or evening courses across six programs: Economic Science, IDET, Learning Sciences & Technologies, Psychological Science, and Society, Technology and Policy. Positions are filled as needed with start dates varying by course and semester.

Ideal candidates hold an advanced degree with substantial practical experience and proven undergraduate or graduate teaching.

• Open to proposing new course ideas to expand offerings.

Responsibilities

• Teach day and/or evening courses across six programs in SSPS.

Job Description Summary

The Social Science & Policy Studies department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach day and/or evening classes in each of our six programs:

• Economic Science
• International Development, Environmental and Sustainability Studies
• Learning Sciences & Technologies
• Psychological Science
• Society, Technology and Policy

Each program offers either a graduate major or undergraduate major and minor option, and are led by esteemed leaders in their respective fields. We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic adjunct faculty to work with our ever-expanding load of innovative and cutting-edge courses for our exceptional students.

Compensation

Compensation: $6,000 per course
