Job summary

Bowie State University is seeking to recruit a pool of adjunct faculty across undergraduate and graduate disciplines, particularly in Computer Science, History and Government, Management and Marketing, and Elementary Statistics for Sociology. Candidates should have strong teaching experience in higher education and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree (doctoral degree preferred) and a proven record of teaching.

Duties and Responsibilities

PURPOSE : Bowie State University provides high-quality and affordable educational opportunities for students with ambitions to achieve and succeed. In addition to its 27 undergraduate majors, Bowie State offers 22 master’s degree programs, 19 specialty certificates and two doctoral programs with specific focus on science, technology, business, education and related disciplines. Bowie State University is seeking to recruit a pool of adjunct faculty in all disciplines (undergraduate and graduate levels)and particularly in the following disciplines:

• Elementary Statistics for Sociology

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: The successful candidates will have a solid experience in highereducation, and will have undergraduate and graduate teachingexperience either as a professor/instructor or graduate teachingassistant.
