Job Description: The Social Sciences Department is recruiting a pool of applicants for possible adjunct teaching positions. Successful candidates will teach one or more of the following philosophy courses:

• Business Ethics
• Environmental Ethics
• Philosophy: Ethics
• Philosophy of Art
• Animal Ethics and the Fashion Industry
• Introduction to Political Philosophy
• Introduction to Asian Philosophy
• Informal Logic: A Guide to Clear Thinking
• Anxiety and Fear: Introduction to Existentialism

Responsibilities:

• Deliver relevant course material

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree with thirty (30) additional graduate credits and/or evidence of scholarly achievement, professional activities, and teaching experience. The Master's requirement may be waived if the candidate is in a doctoral program where the Master's is not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD or other terminal degree in a related field is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation is governed by the UCE-FIT Collective Bargaining Agreement, approximately $84.60 per hour, with final rates based on qualifications.
