Summary

To teach physics courses (lecture, supplemental instructions, laboratory sessions) and to collaborate with other faculty within and outside of the department in the development and execution of courses. This position is In Person.

Essential Functions

• Teach physics lecture, supplemental instruction, and/or laboratory.
• Administer, proctor, and grade assignments.
• Follow the designated curriculum.
• Report grades in the Canvas Learning Management System and Student Planning.
• Comply with laboratory safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with respective academic coordinators on course development and execution as outlined in the faculty handbook.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A Master's degree in Physics is required.
• A PhD is preferred.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.
