Job Description:

Fairfield University's College of Arts and Sciences is solicitingapplications from qualified candidates holding Master's or Ph. D.degrees in Physics or related STEM fields.

Courses taught by adjuncts are for students at the beginningundergraduate level. Instructors are mainly needed to teachsections of General Physics and General Physics laboratories. Alsoof immediate interest are instructors who would like to teachcourses for non-science-majors, such as Astronomy, Cosmology, Light& Color, Sound and Music, Physics of Sports, Energy and theEnvironment, Science and Technology for Future Presidents, andsimilar. Classes will preferably be taught during the day, but afew sections may be arranged to be offered in the evenings. Fromtime to time, upper-division physics may be available for adjunctswith proper qualifications and interests.
