Marquette University invites applications for a part-time Faculty Physical Therapist to support pediatric labs in the DPT curriculum. A Physical Therapist is needed to help with labs for the 2 credit PHTH 7555 Introduction to Pediatrics: Development and Assessment Physiology of Activity course in the DPT curriculum. The course has 2 labs on Fridays in the spring from 1:00-3:00 and 3:00-5:00 each week for 16 weeks.
In the Fall a therapist is needed to help with labs for the 4 credit PHTH 7675 Pediatric Disorders and Intervention Strategies and PHTH 7932 Advanced Topics in Pediatric Physical Therapy. PHTH 7675 has 4 labs on Wednesdays for a total of 8 hours. PHTH 7932 is on Fridays from 2:30-5:30 for 16 weeks.
Assisting with teaching and supervising second and third year physical therapy students in pediatric evaluation, assessment and treatment. Responsibilities include facilitating laboratory instruction, mentoring students in clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice, assessing student performance, and integrating hands‑on learning experiences that prepare students for pediatric physical therapy practice.
PT with WI licensure or eligibility. Five years of clinical experience in pediatrics. Must have strong knowledge of pediatric physical therapy treatment, evaluation and assessment.
