Job summary

La Salle University’s Philosophy program seeks adjunct faculty to teach a variety of courses on an as-needed basis, typically in-person during the daytime. Courses include Ethics & the Good Life or The Examined Life and may occur in the evenings or online as scheduled.

Faculty will prepare materials aligned with learning objectives, provide timely grading and feedback, and support students’ academic development. The position is part-time and semesterly.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Philosophy or closely related field is required.
• Knowledge and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
• Previous experience teaching at the collegiate level is required.

Courses generally taught by adjunct faculty may include: Ethics & the Good Life or The Examined Life. These courses are generally offered in person, in the daytime.
