Job summary

Herzing University seeks qualified adjunct faculty for online teaching in its graduate nursing programs. This remote role requires US residency and an unencumbered RN license, with credentials demonstrated by date of hire.

The candidate should hold an MSN and a PhD, DNP or EdD in education or a related healthcare field, plus PHMNP certification and 2+ years of online nursing education experience. Prior graduate teaching and Canvas familiarity are preferred.

Job description

To participate in a remote work arrangement, employees must reside in the United States. No remote work arrangement will be considered for working from outside the United States.

Qualifications

• Compact RN license
  • If you do not currently hold an unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in WI or a multi-state compact license, the ability to obtain these will be required by date of hire
• Master of Science in Nursing with a PhD, DNP or Doctorate in Education or related Healthcare field
• Hold an PHMNP National Board Certification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in online nursing education

Preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a graduate nursing program
• Experience with Canvas as a learning management system

Compensation for graduate nursing adjunct is $900 per didactic credit and $500 per student for teaching clinical.
