Job summary

Herzing University seeks an adjunct faculty for graduate nursing courses to teach online. The role requires an MS in Nursing with a PhD/DNP or Doctorate in Education or related field, a compact RN license, and NBPHMNP certification. At least two years of online nursing education experience is expected.

Preference given to those with graduate program teaching experience and Canvas proficiency. Responsibilities include teaching and learning, scholarship of teaching, and academic service.

Qualifications

• Hold an unencumbered RN license or compact license (WI or multi-state) and obtain by date of hire
• Master of Science in Nursing with a PhD, DNP or Doctorate in Education or related Healthcare field
• Hold a PHMNP National Board Certification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in online nursing education
• Preferred: 2+ years teaching in a graduate nursing program
• Preferred: Experience with Canvas as a learning management system

To participate in a remote work arrangement, employees must reside in the United States. No remote work arrangement will be considered for working from outside the United States.

Qualifications

• Compact RN license
  • If you do not currently hold an unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in WI or a multi-state compact license, the ability to obtain these will be required by date of hire
• Master of Science in Nursing with a PhD, DNP or Doctorate in Education or related Healthcare field
• Hold an PHMNP National Board Certification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in online nursing education

Preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a graduate nursing program
• Experience with Canvas as a learning management system

Compensation for graduate nursing adjunct is $900 per didactic credit and $500 per student for teaching clinical.
