Herzing University invites qualified nurse educators to join our online adjunct faculty. The role focuses on teaching graduate nursing courses remotely and contributing to scholarly activities within the Nursing program.

Qualified candidates hold an MSN and a doctoral credential with board certification, plus experience in online education and familiarity with Canvas LMS.

• Must hold an unencumbered RN license in WI or a multi-state compact license.
• MSN with PhD, DNP or Doctorate in Education or related healthcare field.
• Hold PHMNP National Board Certification.
• Minimum 2 years' online nursing education experience.

Job description

To participate in a remote work arrangement, employees must reside in the United States. No remote work arrangement will be considered for working from outside the United States.

Qualifications

• Compact RN license
  • If you do not currently hold an unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in WI or a multi-state compact license, the ability to obtain these will be required by date of hire
• Master of Science in Nursing with a PhD, DNP or Doctorate in Education or related Healthcare field
• Hold an PHMNP National Board Certification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in online nursing education

Preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a graduate nursing program
• Experience with Canvas as a learning management system

Compensation for graduate nursing adjunct is $900 per didactic credit and $500 per student for teaching clinical.
