Job summary

Herzing University is seeking a remote adjunct nursing faculty member to teach online graduate courses in nursing. A compact RN license is preferred or the ability to obtain one by date of hire, along with an MSN and a doctoral degree in education or related field.

Candidates should have at least two years of online nursing education experience and familiarity with Canvas LMS. Preferred: experience in graduate teaching and coursework development.

• Holding PHMNP National Board Certification.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in online nursing education.

Job description

To participate in a remote work arrangement, employees must reside in the United States. No remote work arrangement will be considered for working from outside the United States.

Qualifications

• Compact RN license
  • If you do not currently hold an unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in WI or a multi-state compact license, the ability to obtain these will be required by date of hire
• Master of Science in Nursing with a PhD, DNP or Doctorate in Education or related Healthcare field
• Hold an PHMNP National Board Certification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in online nursing education

Preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a graduate nursing program
• Experience with Canvas as a learning management system

Compensation for graduate nursing adjunct is $900 per didactic credit and $500 per student for teaching clinical.
