Job summary

Herzing University invites qualified individuals to join our adjunct nursing faculty to deliver online course content and guide graduate nursing students in a dynamic virtual learning environment. The position emphasizes teaching, scholarship of teaching and learning, and active participation in academic service.

Qualified candidates will have an MSN with a PhD/DNP or EdD, PMHNP Board Certification, and at least two years of online nursing education experience, with preference for graduate

Qualifications

• Compact RN license
  • If you do not currently hold an unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in WI or a multi-state compact license, the ability to obtain these will be required by date of hire
• Master of Science in Nursing with a PhD, DNP or Doctorate in Education or related Healthcare field
• Hold an PHMNP National Board Certification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in online nursing education

Preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a graduate nursing program
• Experience with Canvas as a learning management system

Compensation

Compensation for graduate nursing adjunct is $900 per didactic credit and $500 per student for teaching clinical.
