Aurora University seeks talented adjunct faculty who are passionateabout teaching pre-licensure, undergraduate, and graduate nursingstudents. Qualified adjunct faculty instructors are offeredpart-time teaching opportunities (up to 9 credits/semester) basedon faculty demand in the clinical areas.

Teaching Responsibilities

The School of Nursing at Aurora University invites applicants forclinical adjunct appointments in the following disciplines:

• Fundamentals
• Medical-Surgical
• Obstetrics
• Pediatrics
• Psychiatric / Mental Health

The position involves the supervision of students in clinicalpractice at clinical sites as well as the simulation lab. Clinicalassignments may include weekdays, evenings, and/or weekends and arelocated throughout the Chicagoland area.

Minimum Qualifications

The salary is $55 per clock hour worked. This compensationis subject to change at the sole discretion of the university,based on institutional needs.
