Job summary

Keene State College seeks clinical adjuncts to supervise nursing students in clinical settings and to lead post-clinical debriefing in accordance with Keene State College and Cheshire Medical Center policies.

Responsibilities include creating assignments, ensuring safe medication administration, evaluating performance, and providing feedback. In-person role based in Keene, NH within the Nursing Department.

Qualifications

• BSN with 5 years of nursing experience.
• Unencumbered RN license in New Hampshire.
• Current Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
• Strong teaching and clinical education skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in a clinical setting.
• Conduct post-clinical debrief following college policies.
• Create student assignments and supervise safe medication administration.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Review weekly reflection submissions and conduct midterm/final clinical evaluations.

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:

• BS in Nursing with 5 years of experience

Required Licenses & Certifications:

• Unencumbered RN license in New Hampshire
• Current Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Demonstrate comprehensive expertise and knowledge of nursing care, collaborate withfulltime nursing instructor ad program director, knowledge in nursing education in the clinical setting-thoughtful reflection on teaching effectiveness and student evaluation and willingness to create a proactive plan to address any issues with student performance, effective communication skills, encouragement of responsible, independent, analytic, or creative thought by students.

Preferred Qualifications:

• DNP, PhD or MS in Nursing with a specialty certification in a clinical area

Keene State College is seeking clinical adjuncts to serve in the Nursing department Fall 26-27. The positions include supervising students in a clinical setting and conducting a post-clinical debrief following Keene State and Cheshire Medical Center policies. The responsibilities include but are not limited to creating student assignments, supervising safe medication administration, evaluating student performance and providing constructive feedback for improvement, reviewing and responding to weekly reflection assignments, clinical evaluations at midterm and final of clinical experience. This is an in person position.

Compensation Pay Range

$800 - $840
