Job summary

College of DuPage invites applications for Adjunct Faculty, Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technology (MRIT) to teach MRIT courses in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, using face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended formats. The successful candidate will contribute to student success in a multicultural environment and may teach on evenings or weekends as needed.

Requirements include an Associate of Applied Science or equivalent in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, a minimum of two years full-time MRI

Qualifications

• Experience teaching individuals or groups in academic settings.
• Clinical MRI background with ability to translate theory to practice.
• Familiarity with online/hybrid teaching formats and student assessment.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Minimum of an Associate of Applied Science or equivalent in Magnetic ResonanceImaging.

Experience

• Two years full time experience or equivalent as a magnetic resonanceimaging technologist.
• Experience working directly with students in a clinical setting or prior teaching experience preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• A current ARRT certification or equivalent.
• A current IEMA licensure as required.

Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred. Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.

These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments.

A pre-employment background check at the Colleges' expense is required.
