Adjunct Faculty Instructor, Digital Photography - FA25

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face-to-face, online, hybrid, and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in photography is required.
• Master's or MFA in Photography is preferred.
• Maintenance of an active knowledge of current practices that affect the discipline of photography is preferred.
• Fluency in the ethical standards and principles particular to the field of photography is preferred.
• The successful candidate will have experience teaching studio photography, including manual camera skills, design strategies, visual literacy, Lightroom Classic, digital printing, and digital asset management.
• Teaching assignments may include a variety of delivery modes, such as face-to-face, hybrid, and/or blended formats during days, evenings, and weekends.

Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching is preferred. Access to personal technology, including a home computer with appropriate capabilities to teach online, is required.

These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments.
