Qualifications

• Teaching effectiveness as per VCCS-29 criteria or equivalent.
• Ability to deliver coursework electronically in online environment and via multiple teaching strategies, plus in-person instruction.
• Understands varied student backgrounds; fosters sense of belonging, engagement, and inclusive curriculum development.
• Proficiency with computers, software applications, and the institution’s LMS.

Responsibilities

• Teach specified classes in classroom/virtual/clinical settings to students with diverse backgrounds.
• Develop course syllabi and instructional materials, delivering high-quality instruction and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain records, assign grades, and assess student progress.
• Adhere to MECC policies and emphasize instructional excellence through curriculum development and assessment.
• Maintain current competence in the discipline and engage in ongoing professional growth.
