Job summary

Duties & Responsibilities

Teaching responsibilities include instructing undergraduate and/orgraduate courses within the VCU da Vinci Center’s UndergraduateCertificates, Master’s in Product Innovation, and Human-CenteredDesign courses.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with 5+ years relevant workexperience.
• Experience and knowledge of design thinking principles.
• Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environmentof respect, professionalism and civility with a population offaculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds andexperiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior teaching experience
• A master's or Ph.D. degree
• Experience with design thinking principles and trainingprograms, innovation and entrepreneurship-based curriculumdevelopment, and mentoring and coaching students
