Ivy Tech Community College is seeking an adjunct faculty member in Information Technology Support to deliver IT coursework aligned with program standards. The role involves preparing syllabi, lessons, assessments, and maintaining student records while engaging students with effective instructional methods.
Qualified candidates typically hold a master’s degree in IT or related fields (or equivalent routes outlined by Ivy Tech) and will teach ITSP courses with compliance to FERPA and college

Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis. Adjunct Faculty are responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals; and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided.
Day or evening classes based on class schedule and enrollment
A qualified faculty member in Information Technology Support (ITSP) meets the program standard through one of four routes:
ITSP 135 Course Standard:
A qualified faculty member teaching ITSP 135 meets the Information Technology Support (ITSP) program standard (above) and holds a valid, non-expired CompTIA A+ certification or CompTIA Network+ certification.
ITSP 215 Course Standard:
A qualified faculty member teaching ITSP 215 meets the Information Technology Support (ITSP) program standard (above) and holds a valid, non-expired CompTIA Mobility+ certification, CWNP’s Certified Wireless Network Administration certification, CWNP’s Certified Wireless Network Professional certification, or is a current Cisco Academy Instructor with the Wireless course qualifications.
