Description

The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics (IS/BAN) at Hofstra University invites applications for an adjunct instructor or an assistant professor in the field of business analytics.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Teaching requirements in the department include undergraduate courses and graduate courses. Areas of interest are business statistics, Excel, sports analytics, and artificial intelligence. Teaching load per semester can be one or two courses, depending on the department’s needs.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in analytics/statistics/MIS/IS, or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited institution is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry experience or certificates in data analytics fields are preferred.
