The Opportunity:
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) is seeking to fill adjunct professor positions for ERAU's dual enrollment Aerospace Career Academy programs in various high school locations throughout the state of Florida. Adjunct faculty are needed in the following disciplines:
Duties include:
Provide classroom instruction following ERAU academic procedures. Prepare course materials, deliver instruction, conduct field trips, maintain academic records, ensure course learning objectives are met, and assist in recruiting, grant writing, and fundraising efforts.
This position supports ERAU's Aerospace Career Academy program, which offers a collegiate model of aviation and aerospace education to select public high schools. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with ERAU and public school district requirements, liaising with course monitors, and ensuring students are properly registered and graded. The role also involves helping students learn about ERAU, supporting recruitment activities, coordinating with local organizations for field trips and internships, and establishing elementary and middle school aerospace feeder programs.

Qualifications
Required qualifications: A master's degree in Aeronautical Science, Aviation Business, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Programming; or a master's degree out of field with 18 graduate hours in the subject area; or a master's degree out of field with documented professional experience, military service, and/or FAA licensing.
