Job summary

Davis Defense Group, Inc. is recruiting Adjunct Faculty to support the Enlisted College Distance Education Program (ECDEP) seminars at regional campuses. You will coordinate with the Regional Chief Instructor to deliver instruction, lead discussions, and mentor Marines enrolled in ECDEP.

Ideal candidates have PME progress, a degree, and experience with LMS platforms like Moodle, with seminars run for 15 weeks, offered onsite and online three times yearly.

Qualifications

• Served as a staff sergeant or above.
• PME complete for rank or grade.
• Must be PME complete for rank or grade.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with a DDG Regional Chief Instructor to provide instructional services for ECDEP seminars.

Functional Description

Adjunct faculty coordinate with a DDG Regional Chief Instructor to provide instructional services for the ECDEP seminars. The candidate must possess the requisite skills, experience, and abilities to lead discussions, grade seminar contributions and papers, and mentor U.S. Marines enrolled in the ECDEP seminars. ECDEP Adjunct Faculty currently support two seminar programs - Sergeants School Seminar Program (SSSP, 5500) and SNCO Leadership School Seminar Program (SLSSP, 6800). Both programs are 15 weeks long and offered three times a year in onsite, online (synchronous) and online (asynchronous) formats.

Mandatory Faculty Qualifications

• Served as a staff sergeant or above.
• PME complete for rank or grade.
• Served as a master sergeant/first sergeant or above.
• Must be PME complete for rank or grade.

Desired Faculty Qualifications - All Programs

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• Graduate of a CDET PME seminar program.
• Socratic teaching experience.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) (e.g., Moodle).
