UNT Dallas invites qualified individuals to join the School of Education as adjunct faculty for EC-12 Special Education in Spring 2027. The role focuses on high-quality instruction, student engagement, assessment, and collaboration with partners to prepare future educators.

Faculty will teach courses across undergraduate and graduate programs, employing diverse delivery formats (face-to-face, online, hybrid) to meet program needs and course scheduling.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Special Education, Exceptional Student Education, Educational Psychology, Curriculum and Instruction, or closely related field.
• Demonstrated professional expertise in special education.
• Experience teaching or supporting students with disabilities in EC–12 settings or higher education.
• Knowledge of special education assessment, instruction, and IEP development practices.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in special education.
• Deliver content using effective, evidenced-based instructional practices (face-to-face, online, hybrid).
• Maintain syllabi, assessments, and instructional resources aligned with program expectations.
• Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate student records and grades.
• Collaborate with faculty, school partners, and stakeholders.
