The University of New England invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty in Developmental Mathematics. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching developmental-level prerequisite courses designed to prepare students for college-level coursework in math and science. This role is ideal for educators passionate about student success and committed to fostering a supportive learning environment for diverse learners.
The adjunct faculty member will provide instructional support during the Fall 2026 semester, with the contract period being September 2, 2026, through December 18, 2026. This position requires mandatory on-campus availability during scheduled class periods. The available class times are:
In addition to scheduled class time, adjunct faculty should anticipate approximately 1–2 additional hours per week for course preparation, grading, student support, and other course-related responsibilities.
