Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana is seeking adjunct faculty to deliver assigned classes and foster a learning environment aligned with college policies and course objectives.
You will develop syllabi, lesson plans, assignments and tests, maintain accurate records, provide timely feedback, and engage with students in meaningful ways, using available technology to enhance instruction, while adhering to Ivy Tech policies, safety guidelines, and professional standards.
Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis. Adjunct Faculty are responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals; and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
School of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering & Applied Science Course Standard
A qualified adjunct faculty member, including Dual Credit, Workforce Alignment, and a full-time faculty teaching outside their discipline, meets the technical course standard through one of four routes:
