Job summary

Marquette University in Milwaukee seeks a part-time lab supervisor to support anatomy courses, including BISC 4112 Head & Neck Anatomy, BISC 2015 Principles of Human Anatomy and Physiology 1, and related classes. You will assist in gross anatomy labs, provide dissection guidance, and help ensure safe, effective hands-on learning.

You will collaborate with the course director and fellow instructors to schedule labs, set up exams, and refine course content, contributing to high-quality student

Qualifications

• Experience as a teaching assistant or instructor in human anatomy preferred.
• Dissection experience in a gross anatomy lab required.
• Progress toward a master's or equivalent TA experience considered.

Faculty Position Overview

Biomedical Sciences is looking for lab supervisors for BISC 4112 Head & Neck Anatomy, BISC 2015 Principles of Human Anatomy and Physiology 1 and BISC 7130 Human Gross Anatomy.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide laboratory instructional assistance, including dissection advice, in the human gross anatomy lab. Coordinate with course director regarding teaching schedule, availability for exam set up, and course content. Work with a team of other faculty / lab instructors to provide high quality anatomy instruction.

Other Experience and Qualifications

Previous Human Gross Anatomy Dissection Experience Required. Previous teaching assistant/teaching experience required. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Master's Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree, or equivalent teaching assistant/teaching experience.
